On August 23, 2024, the Dubai International Art Centre in Jumeirah will host an exclusive event, merging the worlds of art and literature with the launch of the Autobiography Coffee Table Book and an accompanying art exhibition “Canvas Of Artist Memories”. This unique initiative, supported by Namaste India International and Dubai International Art Centre, showcases the creative journeys of over 33 artists from 11 countries, reflecting a vibrant tapestry of cultures and artistic expressions.

The event, titled “Celebrating Glory,” marks a significant occasion, following closely on the heels of India's Independence Day. Attendees will be treated to an inspiring collection of artworks that serve as a visual memoir for the featured artists. The Autobiography Coffee Table Book, the centerpiece of the event, immortalizes the experiences, inspirations, and legacies of these artists, providing a tangible connection to their memories.

With a prestigious lineup of patrons, including the Chief Guest Mr. Khalil Abdel Wahid, the Guest of Honor Mr. Faisal Abdul Qader, Special Guests Mr. Rayad Kamal Ayub, Mrs. Meena Kamal and Reema Mahajan, the event will also feature a diverse group of special guests and honorees from the UAE, India, Ethiopia, Iran, Lebanon, the USA, France, Pakistan, Egypt, Ireland, and Germany. The evening promises to be a celebration of artistic heritage, cultural diversity, and the enduring power of creative expression.

This event not only highlights the significance of the artistic community in Dubai but also emphasizes the global connections fostered through art. As Gallery 76 opens its doors for this special occasion, it invites art enthusiasts and cultural aficionados to join in honoring the creative legacies that continue to shape the world.

Gallery 76 is the oldest public art gallery in the UAE and occupies a special place in the history of Dubai’s thriving art scene. Gallery 76 plays a key role at DIAC in facilitating ‘Art for all’.
