Sharjah Launches UAE's First 24/7 Holy Quran TV Channel

On Friday, August 16, Sharjah will make history with the launch of the UAE's first dedicated Holy Quran TV channel. This new initiative promises to provide viewers with uninterrupted Quranic recitations around the clock, featuring fresh and exclusive content from renowned reciters across the world. The channel also plans to broadcast a daily khatmah (complete recitation of the Quran), offering a unique opportunity for continuous spiritual engagement.
Programs to Make Religious Teachings More Accessible
In addition to recitations, the channel will feature a series of short educational programs aimed at simplifying and demystifying religious concepts. These programs are designed to enhance viewers' understanding of the Holy Quran, presenting its teachings in a way that resonates with modern audiences. This initiative is part of a broader effort to make the Quran's wisdom more accessible and relatable, especially to younger generations.
Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's Latest Initiative
This new channel is a significant addition to the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's (SBA) expanding media portfolio. The channel's launch comes under the direction of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. His vision underscores a deep commitment to spreading Quranic teachings and ensuring that meaningful religious content is readily available to the public.
A New Standard for Religious Media
Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, SBA's director, emphasized that the Holy Quran Channel will set a new standard for religious media in the UAE and beyond. By focusing on Quranic recitations, khatmah, and Quranic sciences, the channel aims to reinforce SBA's leadership in producing purposeful and spiritually enriching media content.
