The Woman Scream Festival 2025, a global platform dedicated to amplifying women’s voices through art and literature, marks its 15th anniversary with the special edition collection Echoes of Her Soul. Published by the Association for Promoting Cultural Diversity Alia Mundi, this powerful bilingual collection (Serbian-English) unites creators from around the world under the theme: “It’s Not a Game”, addressing children’s rights and the fight against child marriages.

UAE Artists Make a Profound Impact

Among the distinguished contributors, writers and artists from the UAE have made a significant artistic and literary impact, shedding light on the struggles, resilience, and dreams of young girls worldwide. Their works, both poetic and visual, challenge harmful traditions and inspire change.

Stunning Visual Contributions from UAE Artists

The collection also features extraordinary visual art from UAE-based artists, whose works serve as both an aesthetic and emotional statement on the themes of oppression and hope:

  • Mariam Khawer – Hikma, Eye Spy

  • Sanili Saha – Resilience

Particularly noteworthy is Faezeh Mohammed Hassan’s painting My Imaginary Village, which was selected as the cover artwork for Echoes of Her Soul. Her piece beautifully encapsulates the dreams, innocence, and struggles of young girls, setting a profound visual tone for the collection.

A Global Call for Change

Since its founding in 2011, the Woman Scream Festival has been a worldwide movement advocating for women’s rights and social justice through poetry, literature, and visual arts. Every year, it gathers creators from diverse cultural backgrounds to address urgent social issues and ignite change through the power of artistic expression.

With the strong participation of UAE writers and artists, Echoes of Her Soul becomes an even more compelling global outcry against injustice. It is more than a publication—it is a testament to resilience, a call for action, and a beacon of hope for future generations.
