UAE Artists Make a Profound Impact
Among the distinguished contributors, writers and artists from the UAE have made a significant artistic and literary impact, shedding light on the struggles, resilience, and dreams of young girls worldwide. Their works, both poetic and visual, challenge harmful traditions and inspire change.
Stunning Visual Contributions from UAE Artists
The collection also features extraordinary visual art from UAE-based artists, whose works serve as both an aesthetic and emotional statement on the themes of oppression and hope:
Faezeh Mohammed Hassan – Meera, My Imaginary Village, Traditional Emirati Dress (Front Cover Artwork)
Mariam Khawer – Hikma, Eye Spy
Sanili Saha – Resilience
Farah Khan – Beyond the Chains
Shiba Khan – Woman Sacrifice

Nagla Ali Hassan – Egyptian Queen (Nagla contributed to the Literary section of this collection as well)

Particularly noteworthy is Faezeh Mohammed Hassan’s painting My Imaginary Village, which was selected as the cover artwork for Echoes of Her Soul. Her piece beautifully encapsulates the dreams, innocence, and struggles of young girls, setting a profound visual tone for the collection.
A Global Call for Change
Since its founding in 2011, the Woman Scream Festival has been a worldwide movement advocating for women’s rights and social justice through poetry, literature, and visual arts. Every year, it gathers creators from diverse cultural backgrounds to address urgent social issues and ignite change through the power of artistic expression.
With the strong participation of UAE writers and artists, Echoes of Her Soul becomes an even more compelling global outcry against injustice. It is more than a publication—it is a testament to resilience, a call for action, and a beacon of hope for future generations.
