Thus, Funun Arts Group was born—a dynamic platform dedicated to inspiring and empowering artists, fostering creativity, and showcasing artistic potential.

Today, Funun Arts Group connects over 15,000 multinational artists, bridging creators, collectors, architects, interior designers, and art enthusiasts. Through local and international exhibitions, gallery collaborations, art fairs, and numerous shows in the UAE, the group has earned global recognition.

Founders' Vision

Shiba Khan, an accomplished artist, art activist, curator, and fashion designer, is the visionary founder of Funun Arts Group. A recipient of the UAE’s prestigious Cultural Golden Visa, she is also the co-owner of Al Saqf Al Lamea, a prominent interior design company. Driven by a passion for art and its transformative power, Shiba has created a platform that not only nurtures artistic expression but also contributes meaningfully to society.

Farah Khan, co-founder and creative head of Funun Arts, is a passionate blogger, photographer, and poet. A recipient of the UAE’s Cultural Golden Visa, this versatile Indian artist shares her stories through her blogs Foodbatuta and Dubai Culture Vulture. Guided by her belief that “Today everything exists to end in a photograph,” she blends her artistic and literary talents to inspire and captivate.

Recent Initiatives and Events

In September 2024, Funun Arts Group, in collaboration with Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, celebrated International Literacy Day under the theme “Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace.” The event emphasized the power of multilingual education in fostering global unity and peace, featuring youth leaders, distinguished guests, and artists from various fields.

In November 2024, the group hosted the 4th Edition of the Annual Student Art Show at Study World Campus in Dubai Academic City. The event brought together over 1,000 students from 50 nationalities, exploring the theme “Art and Innovation” and aligning with the UAE’s forward-looking vision, “We the UAE 2031.”
